When exactly do I get notified?

Three situations: (1) the price reaches the target you set — always sent; (2) the price suddenly falls 5% or more; (3) the price hits its lowest point of the last 90 days. To keep things from getting spammy, types 2 and 3 are limited to about one every 3 days — your own target-price alert is never held back. Types 2 and 3 can be switched on or off per product, any time.
